its definitely a new innovation. but the camera slider after a matter of time will not work perfectly because of the dust stuck inside. but in the general its a huge step from oppo.

remember when this was like a new tech that impressed everyone..yeah..it's already 2 years ago and we already in the era of foldable screen technology..damn fast!!
2 years ago OPPO and Vivo were just trying to make their phones look similar to iPhones but now they're the one who's innovating
Slowly falling in love with Oppo and their designs.
If it works practically without breaking from debris or impact then I could definitely see the design making it's way to the marketplace. However i'd wait to see how it holds up over time, giving it time for a 1440 or 4k oled model release before picking one up.
Ever since the Oppo Find 7, I've been waiting for a real successor, rumors had been flying about an 9, never happened. The find 7 was just so cool and I believe is the phone that introduced super-fast charging system. That blue light on that device is just amazing amazing. Guess playstation took their queue on it and made it on their VR. And dual shock. To this day, one of the coolest phone ever, maybe the coolest. Defnitely if no anything else, the relatively coolest of all time. On a pratical note, One Plus is the phone that you should drive every day because they are up to modern date.
This is exactly what I thought of, a software-controlled pop-up assembly for a true edge-to-edge display. The assembly, however, should have some sort of spring mechanism for instantaneous popup and then use a motor to draw it back into the unit. Apple should have thought of this.
